Description

1973 Z28 RS TYPE LT CAMARO.

RALLEY SPORT RALLY SPORT PERFORMANCE PACKAGE Z28 SPLIT BUMPER
Car needs restoration.
THIS car deserves a FULL Restoration do to its Originality and Rarity.
I have owned the car since 1990. I am the third owner.
Originally a California car but I drove it for two years here in Utah so it has some rust in the rear 1/4s and one front fender. Frame rails are clean as is most of the undersides of the car. In my opinion the rust is on the external body parts and not the internal body parts and have been told that it does need some work but it is not a rust bucket by any means.
Car has:
1)original complete numbers matching engine. (excluding distributor)
2) original #s matching Transmission ( M20 4 speed)
3) original #s matching rear end
4) original wheels
5) original shifter
6) original console
7) original tilt steering column and wheel
8) original exhaust system (I believe)
9) original space saver spare and canister
10) original jack cover11) Original Air cleaner assembly (original open element style).
And much more!!
The car is VERY original
When I bought the car it had been painted silver with black stripes by the second owner. It is originally code 74 paint. A dark red.
The interior seats were redone with non original seat covers.
I removed the original engine 3 years after I bought it as it was tired and installed a rebuilt 350 4 bolt engine. It has maybe 10,000 miles on it. It developed a knocking noise and I am not sure what it is. Maybe fuel pump rod? Rod bearing? But it does run.
I have an NOS drivers side rear 1/4 and an NOS RS front spoiler. These parts can be negotiated during purchase if desired but are NOT included in the reserve price.
Car has solid frame rails, solid floors, nice front sub frame, solid doors. Needs 1/4 work, patch on 1 front fender, maybe rear tail light panel and some trunk area work. Also has some rust in the front windshield area.
This car is not a rust bucket car.
This is a rare triple option RS z28 type LT with 4 speed and A/C with ALL of the original drive train.
Very few Z28s with these options were made let alone still exist as original as this car is!!
Some estimate that as few as 100 triple option cars were 4 speed with A/C.
This car is worthy of any car collection or a Camaro enthusiasts that wants a rare original Z28.
Has all of the hard parts to find that are original to the car.
I have the original exhaust manifolds, carburetor, air cleaner (open element style) valve covers, a smog system (not sure if it is original but I think it is a 73 system.), intake manifold with associated hardware.
I have the original am radio not installed.
Ask questions as I am willing to answer questions on info that I may have left out. Car is located in Salt Lake City area in Utah.
Come and take a look in person if you are a serious buyer. I am willing to help with whatever you need to get this car to you. Let me know what needs you have.
I have a bunch of pictures onphotobucket. Send me a message and I will

I have had a lot of contacts about the car. I am beginning to wonder if anyone looks at the pictures or reads the description I have provided. I even wonder if anyone will read THIS!!!
IF you are reading this, then congratulations!!!
NOW, If you are interested in the car, step one would be to PLACE A BID. I am not going to talk about the car with interested parties unless they are actual bidders on the car.
INTERESTED? THEN PLACE A BID!!!! At this point there is still a little room before the reserve is met.
DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS CAR OVER A COUPLE THOUSAND $$$. THIS CAR HAS A TREMENDOUS UPSCALE. VERY RARE, NEARLY ALL ORIGINAL!! Mostly unchanged as far as how the car is now when compared to how it came. Cosmetically? Some. Originality as far as parts, etc? Pretty darn close.
How often do you think a car like this comes arround with this POTENTIAL? Not often. Don't wait messing around or it may just be too late!!!ThanksTim

On Sep-16-16 at 18:07:05 PDT, seller added the following information:

I need to clarify that I HAVE THE ORIGINAL ENGINE AND OTHER ORIGINAL PARTS IN MY GARAGE WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN FOR 20 YEARS. IT and all of the other original parts off of the car are INCLUDED WITH THE SALE.
The NOS parts mentioned in the description are NOT included as I stated above. Sorry for the confusion.
The car has a running non original engine in it right now. If you buy the car and you want me to remove it and put the original engine back in, we could probably work something out. It would not be running if I put the original engine in it. It would only be bolted in for transport and would have to be shipped as non-running.
If you are bidding and don't have any feedback, I wouldappreciateyou contacting me to discuss your bids.
I am confident the reserve will be met so BID TO WIN!!! Thank you. Tim
