Description

1966 silver (ext) with silver interior which is a rare color combination. Car needs a total restoration and has rust in the windshield frame and some areas on the frame. Has a 1973 350 motor, but everything else is original. I've owned this car since the early 2000's and also have a 65 (365hp Conv with AC) that I'll be listing here on EBay. Both are restoration projects and sold as is. Feel free to ask any questions and I can provide my contact information if needed. I've been into corvettes since the early 90's and have more than I need. The last few years my boys and I have transitioned into older Landcruisers and I don't see myself spending the time needed for these two cars. They are both for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction if they sell. Buyer responsible for shipping once full payment is received. PayPal will be accepted for a deposit of $500, but not for the complete payment. Good Texas title as well. Thank you, Jim.

Want to add that this is a hard top only car. A soft top can be put in, but the only frame I have goes with my 65. Thanks, Jim

I've had many questions about this car and want to update the description with more detail. I'm certain this was a lower horse car since the redline is between 5-5500. Some things I know are missing would be the spare/spare tire carrier, the headlight motors (has the buckets and I believe the bezels). I do have a nice condition shifter bezel that I sourced years ago and believe I have the correct grill. I got a few of them when I purchased it along with the 65 mentioned above. Also have the rocker covers. I've never done any demo work on the 66 so it's in the same state as when I picked it up. Around 2000. Lastly, when I mention areas of rust on the frame, I'm referring to being rusted through. There's a hole on the bottom of the frame (rear rocker area) on the drivers side. Can be sectioned and patched up with some welding. The whole frame has surface rust as you may expect from a car sitting 35+ years. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other questions. Thanks, Jim.
