Description

1955 Chevy Belair Hardtop UPDATE: DUE TO MANY REQUESTS,I HAVE ADDED PHOTOS OF UNDER THE CAR. THE CAR IS NOT RUST FREE, IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL FLOOR BOARDS AND ROCKERS WHICH IN SPITE OF BEING UNDERCOATED EARLY IN IT'S LIFE, THERE ARE RUST HOLES IN THE INTER ROCKER PANELS. IT IS WEAK WHERE THE FLOOR PANEL AND THE FLOOR PANEL RAILS ARE WELDED TO THE INTER ROCKER PANEL. This car was built in the late 60's. I bought it in 1992 from a friendwhoseDad had it. It did not have any chrome on the the car and was painted all one color, which was what they did during that period of time.I drove the car for several years and put it in dry warm storage about 15 years ago.I have collected some chrome in hopes of restoring it back to it's original two tone, which I feel is beautiful, shoreline beige / gypsy red.It has a 327 from a 1966 Chevy Impala SS, double hump heads, with a 4 speed, The gas tank is a make/shift tank in the trunk. The gas had gone bad from sitting, (i never expected to have stored it so long)I have been driving it short distances to make sure it is safe to drive, it still is fun to run threw the gears. Please call to discuss any questions or for me to explain what I have in more detail so there are not any misunderstandings. 574-286-2223 I am in South Bend, Indiana
