Description

1946 Chevy Rat Rod Pick upNew 350 small block with new 4 barrel edelbrock carb. all steel on new 2"X3" box steel.
Work done by previous owner in November 2009. as per form mv-426b a complete of how the vehichle is confiqured (chassis, body, components, engine. etc.) including all modifications.
Chassis
  • new frame constructed of 2x3 box steel, fully welded front and back.
  • suspension-all new suspension components include bushings, body mounts, etc.
Body
  • the cab was chopped 3"
  • the fenders and hood were removed
  • the bed was shortened 10"
Front end
  • new dropped front axle
  • new kingpins
  • new backing plates
  • new front brakes including wheels, cylinders, lines, hoses, shoes, and drums
Brakes
  • all new brake compenents for both the front and rear axle
  • rebuilt master cylinder
Steering
  • Rebuilt ford f1 steering box
  • new steering link with new tie rod ends
  • new spindles with new steering links, bearings and wheel seals
Lighting
  • front new headlight buckets with new 7" halogen sealed beams
  • rear new model a lamp housings with new 1157 lamps
Transmission
  • new 350 turbohydromatic

Work done by current owner:
  • replaced engine with new 350 small block
  • replaced carb with new edelbrock 4 barrel
  • install turn signals and 4 way flashers, install signal stat 900 turn lever on steering column, rewire exisitng tail lights with older Dietz style, wire amber lens on top to work as both parking light and turn signals
  • install new speedometer
  • install emergency brake
  • install wiper on drivers side
  • replace and reroute brake lines on rear axle
  • install 180 deg. thermostat
  • frabricate fan shroud and install electric fan
  • install side windows in doors
  • replace existing valve covers with Corvette valve covers, install vacuum line from carbs to PCV valve
  • install disconnect switch on new battery
  • install horn under cab (ooga sound) and wire to button on steering wheel
  • installed exterior door releases
  • installed new tool box in rear pick up section
  • replaced front grille
