Description

This is my 1971 Corvette Roadster. LS-6 clone. it was featured in Super Chevy, & Vette magazine. It was on the cover of the Dec. 2015 edition of Vette magazine.Just Google "71 Corvette Ultimate Sleeper" to read the article and get pics and details. It was also featured on Bangshift, Carcraft, Chevy high Performance, Hot Rod Network, Powerblock TV, & many other on-line sites. It is a Factory Mille migilia Red convertible with both tops. (black soft top) & factory red interior. It came from the factory with air, but it isn't hooked up.It underwent a frame-on restoration in 2006, and is in very nice condition inside & out.Fairly factory appearing car all around. That includes the engine compartment, but.........
This car has 828 horsepower on pump gas, naturally aspirated. It will run 9.70-9.90's here in central MN at 1200 ft elevation. (It only has NHRA safety equipment to go 10.0)If you didn't care about keeping the hood & engine compartment looking stock, this engine would easily make 900Hp with a few small changes.Dart low deck block, Dart 355 fully CNC ported heads, Callies magnum crank, Oliver 6.535 rods, Jessel shaft rocker system, NO "OFF-SHORE" Chines, Scat or Eagle crap in this engine! Only the best! 582 C.I, Powerglide with 1.80 straight cut first gear & Reid case. Custom IRS with hardened axles and shafts.$16,000. engine, $4500. transmission, $7500. Rear end and drive-line components.Transmission is rated to 1500 H.P. Rear end to 1200HP. No Junk!Too much to list. Read the on-line articles, watch the videos, "71 corvette runs 9s" on youtube, and call me only if you are serious.Rest assured the best of everything went into building this car.I am not going to babysit whomever buys this car, if you don't know how to maintain, or operate a naturally aspirated 800 H.P. car, then you better not buy it.This car is all stock appearing, & still drives nice on the street, (my wife can still handle the thing easily), but like I say, A 9 second car is not for the faint of heart.I really don't care if I sell this or not, so no low-ballers or B.S.ers please.320-nine eight three-2352
