1956 Chevy 3100 Restored

This is a nice clean original 56 Chevy 3100. The truck will easily win local shows. It can also be a daily driver. When the weather is nice, it's my vehichle of choice to go to work. There is not a time that goes by that heads are not turning and people are not asking about the truck. I am dissappointed to have to sell it, but I just replaced my wife's car and the bills say a toy must go. The truck came out of Mississippi. The frame was and is nicer that most trucks you see on the road today. When we stripped the truck down mininal surface rust was found on the frame. The truck exterior of the truck was striped down a few months ago and completed redone. It has all original metal. The body work was done the right way and not done with filler. The exterior has a two tone gloss finish. Previous owner removed the original engine out and replaced it with a 327. The rear end was replaced 2 years ago. It is still the original 3 on the tree, straight axel, and drum brakes. Interior is all original with no modification that I am aware of. It still has the original heater box that still works. I have brand new SS Chrome bed strips, but do not have the new bed wood. The bed strips will go along with the truck.If you are looking for an original that needs minimal work this one is for you. The truck runs solid and has no mechanical issues. I just put a brand new gel battery in it last summer. It starts right up even after sitting a month in the cold garage. Tires are brand new. My plan was to put in the new bed wood this summer, run some new wire, and restore the interior. The rest has already been done and those things don't need done to enjoy it. I would not hesitate to driver this truck anyone.
