Description

You are looking at one amazing customized Box Chevy! And can you say CHROME??!! Priced reasonable and read to roll!
This car was customized about 5 years ago to be a real SHOW CAR in California! It was rarely driven and it was a multiple award winning show car. It obviously received an amazing custom paint job. The whole car was painted. Even the underside and frame of the car received custom painting and pinstriping. And the underside of the hood was completely smoothed painted and striped too.
Not only did they spend a fortune on custom paint.....they seriously invested in chrome! When you look under this car you will see multiple items that were chromed. The whole front suspension including upper and lower control arms are chrome. The inner and outer tie rod ends are chrome. The drag link, brake calipers, spindles & transmission cross member is chrome. The driver and passenger floor pans were chromed. The complete rear end on this car...hub to hub is chrome. The gas tank is chrome. And the front and rear bumpers were re-chromed. Under the hood they spent time and money with custom paint and more chrome. The inner fender wells are chrome. The hood hinges, breather, valve covers, power steering pump & heater motor are chromed. And even the radiator hose is chrome as well as some of it's accessories and other brackets. No cost was spared and they chromed all they could!
Fast forward to today and this car has just received several new items. We just installed a newly rebuilt turbo 350 transmission with less than 50 miles on it. We put in new rear end suspension components and springs. New upper and lower control arms. New rear wheel cylinder. New rear shocks. New front springs and shocks too. And we just had a new driveshaft built and installed.
We gave the car a bit of a makeover and added new 26" Iroc style wheels and tires. These wheels and tires have less than 100 miles on them!
The car has a nice running 4.3L V6 with new motor mounts. It has power steering and power brakes and is an automatic car. All the a/c and heater components are there but due to the dash swap they aren't all operational. But there is working heat on a separate switch. This Box Chevy has a Cadillac dash and interior seating.
I have found NO rust when looking this car over. NO rust to be seen anywhere. It is a great looking car and platform to drive or customize more for shows etc. It was definitely made to be a show car and everyone watches when it rolls by!

p.s. if you want to find photos of this car when it was a show car you can search for 1986 Caprice and it's name No Vaseline. It was painted by Tru-Kandy.
