1984 V/8 S-10
Description
Very nice 1984 V/8 S-10 Reg. cab- short bed. The motor is a GM short block with a high volume oil pump and Hambergers 7 qt. oil pan. Has a Howards hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifters. The heads are alum. Pro-comp. with 202 and 1.60 valves and Comp.-cams full roller rockers. Motor has an alum. dual plane intake and a Quick fuel 650 DP carburetor. The ignition system is all MSD. The exhaust consist of Hedman long tube headers and a complete 2-1/2" Summit exhaust system all the way to the rear. The truck has a complete Mc Leod 11" clutch assy. and an American powertrain hydraulic clutch release system. The transmission is a completely rebuilt Borg/Warner T-5 with an aftermarket custom shifter. The rear end is a completely rebuilt GM 10 bolt with all new bearings and seals. The gears are a brand new set of Richmond 3.73 with a new Tru-trak posi. unit. The front and rear suspension have both been completely rebuilt with new A-arms, bushings, tie rod ends,QA-1 coilovers, and belltech 2" spindles. The rear has all new 3" lowering springs, bushings, and shocks. The brake system has been rebuilt from one end to the other with all new hard lines, new stainless steel flex line, master cylinder, and booster. The truck has all new Corvette brakes on it with the big C6-Z06 14 " rotors on the front and new 13" C6-Z51 rotors on the rear. The tires and wheels consist of Corvette C6 wheels with 18"X8.5" on the front and 19"X10" on the rear. The tires are new BFG 245R-40-18 on the front and 285-35-19 on the rear. The truck is a very nice professional black and charcoal grey. The interior is very nice with no cracks in the dashboard, has a nice headliner, and new black carpet. All of the motor and drivetrain has less than 400 miles on them.
