1963 Chrysler Newport "pillarless wagon" (1 of 678 made)
Found in "Dry storage" in Lenox Iowa 1970-2016
Original owner had passed away and family didn't know about car for 40+ years
19,305 miles when discovered..All original belts, wires, lights etc. when I took got it
383 V8 2bbl.. Original perfect interior & rugs.. All original paint and 100% rot free
When I got it in 2016, I had the gas tank, sending unit and carb. redone.. Complete tune-up, wires, belts and filters redone.. New 11"x 3" brakes and cylinders.. Petronic ignition..
727 Auto trans 100% rebuilt.. LED (4) headlights $$ very bright & aligned (not in pics)
Dual master cyl. (power booster not in pics).. converted to new factory power steering.. "Vintage Air" Ice cold air conditioning and heat/defrost.. Hooker 2 1/2" exhaust (mellow).. Radiator rebuilt
I had car painted PPG original BC/CC urathane (not door jambs) color.. Coy's 18" wheels/ radials
This car is a great driver.. I have personally driven over 4000 miles (NY to Columbus, Daytona, Vermont and everywhere local).. It runs smooth, steers great and stops fantastic...
