1965 Chrysler Imperial Crown
Description
I'm looking to sell my fathers '65 Crown. It's a great running and driving car. 413ci, 727 auto, power brakes, steering, seats, windows.
New brake master, shoes, wheel cylinders, cooker wide white tires, carrier bearing, engine and rear diff oil, brake fluid, front end greased. All has been done within the past two years. All other fluids are fine. The engine runs very well, performs as it should. On a cold start-up after it has been parked for a few weeks, it will have a faint haze coming out the exhaust. Once it warms up a little, it clears. Transmission shifts as it should.
Was originally a Pink Champagne color. Body is straight but does have a little rust as pictured. There was a scratch on the front passenger side and the past owner did a poor repair. the floors and trunk are very solid. The trunk has all its original paneling and carpet.
Interior is very original and nice. Headliner has one small hole. Dash has two small cracks. The interior is a very dark purple. The wing vents and the passenger side windows are the only ones that work. The rear door motors are out and propped up. The driver side motor seems to be stuck. The gas gauge will only read "half" when it is in fact full. The gear indicator in "P" and doesn't move. It is easy to find all the gears without it. The radio is not emitting any sound, it powers up, searches and antenna will go up. The A/C Compressor is a couple years old, but it is not not working. It acts as if it is stuck. The A/C was cold before. Heat works.
"65 Crown" Minnesota collector plates.Ask any questions you may have.Buyer is required to book a transport if that is the way you want to go, otherwise drive it home.
