1956 Chrysler Imperial Base
Description
1956 Chrysler Imperial. Rebuilt Hemi Engine, push button transmission.
The paint is in good condition with some nicks and bubbling. Some minor rusting along the wheel wells. The chrome bumpers and trim has pitting and minor rust spots. All the glass is intact with no breaks or cracks.
I purchased this vehicle about a year ago as an easy restoration project, unfortunately, I do not have the space or the time to complete the project. What I know about the car. The engine starts and runs well. The transmission shifts well from gear to gear. The power steering motor groans when turned. The master cylinder or power booster needs work. The interior is in need of restoration, head liner has stains, seats are old and dirty, carpet is shot. The power seats and windows are not working. Not sure about the gauges. The original radio works, but only stops on one station. The trunk needs to be replaced. The exhaust appears to be newer.
The previous owner purchased the vehicle at auction and the paperwork left in the car stated the odometer reads 34000 miles. I have put less than 10 miles on since I purchased it.
Please view all photos and feel free to ask any questions.Vehicle is sold in "AS IS" condition with no warranty implied.Pick up only, any transportation is the buyers responsibility.
