1962 Chrysler 300 convertible 383 BB auto
Description
Up for sale is a 1962 Chrysler 300 convertible. I purchased the car from Pennsylvania where its been in storage from 1993. At the time she wasn't running. After changing fuel pump spark plugs wires and ignition parts she came to life after sitting. I restored the brakes with all new wheel cylinders and shoes front and back. I also installed a new master. The car now runs, shift and brakes. The brakes needs to be fine adjusted and might need another bleed. I guess it would be a good idea to go thru the carburetor too. The headlights doesn't work possibly the light switch. Tail lights, fan, wipers etc does work. The power seat does not work. The top works great and is in good condition except for the rear window that need a new zipper. The black interior is in fair condition with no rips & minor scratches. The bottom of the inner door panels are patched with black duct tape as the vinyl was loose. The car is NOT a rust bucket but do have some rust. The doors, hood and trunk lid, fenders is fine. The rot is located in the rear of the both side quarters. There is also rust at passengers floor and trunk. It is "temporary"patched with sheet metal and pop rivets probably done 25 + years ago .( see pictures) Other then that she's all complete and in pretty good condition. The paint have some scratches but would probably look decent after being buffed. This car could easily be a daily driver / rolling project if you spend a couple of weekends on her. But she is a project and need attention. There is probably some things I forgot to mention but overall she's nice unrestored Chrysler 300 Convertible. Happy bidding low reserve!
