1971 Datsun 510 wagon
Pretty much brand new (less then 500 miles, with receipt) L20B rebuilt engine, Weber 38 carburetor on cannon manifold.
Newish Pagoda Red paint. Body and paint is 7.5/10 (minor chips, some dents/dings/waves, door jambs are a little rough) but great for a cruiser or daily driver with some carb adjustments. Stainless is painted black, grill is Grey paint. brand new windshield and seal. Hood is held on with Hood pins. BRE Spook Spoiler. Comes with a rear bumper if so desired. Needs some seals on the doors and rear lights, but has new window glass felt. all known rust was taken care of before paint.
Brand new Kumho tires on 15x6 280ZX wheels
Weld on coil over suspension in the front, with most of the balljoints replaced within the past year, as well as poly bushings in the control arms. New brakes.
Seats are in decent shape, drivers side has a couple separations in the vinyl. missing a few small trim pieces. New carpet. 240Z steering wheel.
Newer exhaust. New Mallory electronic distributor. Runs and sounds great. 4 speed manual transmission. Trans is a little noisy, but it comes with a spare transmission in case it is ever needed. Fuel cell replaced a faulty gas tank a couple years ago so it fills from the hatch area.
needs some wiring repair, but the important things work. Battery is relocated to the rear. New battery 2/2017.
headliner was removed before I got it, installed a bamboo style version, its pretty cool but could easily have a stock headliner installed if you find some bows for it. no sun visors or rear view mirror (haven't found yet)
overall a great little wagon, ready for the car shows, to drive, or to take to the autocross course. Great to tinker with and make perfect but be able to drive and enjoy at the same time. Asking less then the car is worth, but best reasonable offer will be accepted.
