71 Datsun 240Z Clean Nice Mods

Bought this car 4 months ago because I was a Z fan years ago but... I realized I cannot wait for good weather to enjoy this car. So... sadly I need to part with this nice baby.

She’s not a concourse example but an amazing, clean, garage kept, unrestored with no visible rust anywhere for a 47 year old Z. Mileage is not documented.. I so assume speedo had turned over at least once. Original kilimanjaro white repaint is an 8/10. Sunroof already there sorry.

260z engine block with E88 head (not known if also from a 260Z) with triple Weber DCOE40 sidedraft carburetors, headers, upgraded electronic ignition. New mad sounding twice pipes exhaust.

Recent rebuilt 5 spd ZX tranny, competition clutch.

Upgraded suspension with 1 inch front 3/4 inch rear sway bars, 5 way adjustable Tokico struts, Eibach springs, new 16x8 Rota rims and 205/55 Dunlop Direzza DZ102s.

Custom roll bar, custom Recaro seats, aftermarket wood steering wheel, R134 ac system.

This is a fine example not a project and it’s ready to be enjoyed. But know that this is a 47 year old car, there will always be issues which needs addressing depending on your taste.

Issues I am dealing with in my 4 months of ownership. 1) rear brake cylinders need to be correctly switched (will come with new braided lines). 2) some front suspension play (will include new inner and outer tie rods). 3) some oil leak which appears to come from the external oil cooler fittings (not yet investigated). 4) fan speed control stopped working when I fooled around the radio panel (I’m sure it’s a simple fix).

I don’t mean to confuse you with the pictures so for clarification 1) current exhaust is the side by side twice pipes newly installed. The over/under Abarth was not my taste. 2) current wheels and tires are the satin black Rota RB with Dunlops. The white centered rims with tures will come with the car plus another set of wheels.

Parts included; set of white mesh rims and tires, set of slot rims, misc parts as well as parts mentioned above.
