Description

1973 Datsun 240Z. Stock Survivor. Green Metallic exterior, Brown interior. 4 Speed manual. Clean title, 44,5xx original miles.

The interior is in fantastic shape overall. Dash has no cracks. Original AC car. Seats don't have rips. The gauges, radio, fans, etc. work. The exterior is in good shape. Unfortunately it does have rust. By no means would I consider the car “rusted out”, but there is rust forming on the underside and around the lower sections of the vehicle. Has been resprayed the original color a long time ago. Been in the family since '94.

Mechanically, it starts, runs, drives, and stops. It has been sitting for 10ish years. After changing the fuel, I drove it to a shop with a lift to be able get clear pictures of the underside. I wouldn't take the car far without going over it thoroughly and addressing certain aspects, but that is a testament to the fact that it does run and drive fairly well.

Areas that I'd address first:

-Carburetors. It will start after a while and run fine when warm but it's far from optimal. Definitely need cleaned.

-Fluids. All of them should be changed for good measure.

-Two new rear tires. Replacing all four wouldn't hurt.

Here is an album of 60+ photos showcasing the good and bad about the car. https://imgur.com/a/CaqWpE3

Trying to be as transparent as possible so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. 720-252-1166 is my cell. Feel free to give me a call or text if you have any serious questions or are interested in buying it. I am willing to hear any and all offers from potential buyers, but on the same note, I am happy to keep the car stored. I don't foresee these dropping in value anytime soon. Willing to help with seeing the car off, but I am not able to provide transportation. Car is stored in zip code 46962.
