I have owned and started building this truck back in 1998. That was the last time it has been out in the winter. Before that, I am told, the body was in Florida.....and it shows, the body IS in excellent condition. Most everything on this truck has been replaced, rebuilt, or upgraded. Its driven in the summer only, only gets wet when's washed, and stays in a semi-heated garage during the winter.
Items to note:::::: This truck is titled and insured as a 1985 2wd with a gas engine because thats what the body came from. The truck starts and runs excellent. It drives, shifts, and stops like it should for an old 1st gen Dodge truck. There is a slight amount of "Dodge wander' while driving, but it cruises down the road well and loves the 65mph range. Yes it will go faster. The overdrive is controlled with a dash mounted switch that the driver must use to engage overdrive depending on driving conditions. THIS TRUCK HAS NO AIR CONDITIONING, and NEVER HAS. If someone wants A/C they must add it. There is NO CRUISE CONTROL. Again if someone wants it they will have to add it.The body on this truck is extremely solid. The only area that shows some corrosion is a small spot on the drip rail on passengers side over windshield (see pic). This truck has been driven, therefore there are some stone chips down low, a small crack in the grille, and some small hardly noticable imperfections in the paint. There are small oil drips here and there which is typical of an older truck.
