Description

You are bidding on a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger 2 door hardtop. This vehicle originally was a 6 cylinder car so it has the 4" bolt circle
This started as a Father-Son Project in 2003.
We had a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport 340 that we removed the 340 engine and Automatic transmission.
We drove the 1972 Dodge Dart 6 cyl until we had saved enough money to start to do some serious work. We removed the original 6 cylinder engine and transmission.Removed the interior. Had the vehicle and engine compartment painted Mopar Orange. Had the seats reupholster- no tears or rips. The vehicle has a black Vinyl top that has always been in great shape. All glass was replaced as necessary. Purchased SS Cragers wheels and tires. Installed new dash pad ( which has since cracked-see picture in photo gallery). New radiator, Battery, Disc brake conversion kit and Disc brake booster. Sony CD player is just mounted and not hooked up as I just switched out the original CD I had in the car.
The 1973 340 engine was rebuilt to stock in 2005 by Wayne's Engine Rebuilders. A very respected engine builder in Riverside, California. Besides the rebuild, the engine was balanced.A valve job was done on the iron heads and a competition cam was installed. Edelbrock aluminum intake, carburetor, and air cleaner. Black Thin Fin Aluminum value covers. Hooker headers that flow into stainless steel exhaust with flow thru mufflers. The vehicle has Edelbrock shocks all around. The engine has about 20,000 miles on it since the rebuild.
While the engine was at the shop the transmission was rebuild as well. A stall torque converter was installed. I believe it is 2800 rpm.
I have all receipts of the engine rebuild and transmission overhaul. The vehicle still has it's original 6 cylinder differential with drum brakes.
The car runs great. No leaks. Engine does not burn oil. The turn signals, windshield wipers and horn are not working at this time. Original A/C car but A/C has been removed from under the hood.
The vehicle comes with extra parts that have not been installed: trunk pan, Extra set of hooker headers, and headliner material. See picture in gallery.
Clean title.
