1936 Dodge Brothers D2 Series Sedan
Description
When I purchased this 1936 Dodge Brothers D2 it had been in a garage for 10 years. I drained the gas, changed the fluids, installed a new 6V battery, bled the brakes, had the starter rebuilt, and with a little tinkering got it fired up. It runs, drives, and stops and I have put about 100 miles on it locally. It has a 3-speed manual transmission and keeps good oil pressure, runs at normal temperature, and the exhaust is clear. It appears to have been painted and upholstered about 25-30 years ago. It looks to have mostly all original parts and trim pieces and all the body metal is original. The body, frame, and floors are solid. The only spot of bondo on the body is on the trunk lid where a dent was repaired and as you can see in the picture there is a little rippling starting to show. The paint looks better in the pictures than close up and this is a nice old car overall that could easily be restored to original condition.
