Description

Up for auction, low millage 92 Daytona Iroc RT
I am sure that if you are looking at this listing you are aware of how low the production numbers are.
This is a Canadian market car so the speedometer/odometer is in kilometers and was banged as a Chrysler Daytona. Included is a US glove box manual and pouch as i was unable to find a Canadian one.
As of today it has 52531 km or 32641 miles. I have been driving the car to local car nights this summer since i completed the engine rebuild. It has around 2200 km since then. It was run after rebuild with Joe gibbs break in oil for 1000 km and now contains Castrol 10w30 with a fram filter. Everything in the car has been repaired and absolutely everything works. The rebuilt engine consists of the following,
New timing beltNew gaskets and sealsCometic MLS head gasketNew accesory BeltResurfaced head and blockHead core plugs welded upPerformance Valve JobNew valve guide sealsNew ARP head studsNew coolant hosesRebuilt stock Garret turbo from FWD performanceCrankshaft ground .020/,030New clevite rod bearings and main bearingsNew intermediate shaft bearingsNew speed pro ringsNew champion spark plugsNew dorman water pumpFWD performance coolant divertorFWD performance lash adjustersARP rod boltsconnecting rods resizedBlock was hot tankedBlock was line honedNew frost plugs installedBlock heater removedBalance shaft assembly reinstalled with new drive chain and followers, Can be removed, oil galley threaded for plugRocker covers and intake manifold powder coated correct red wrinkleBlock painted black with engine enamelAll the other engine components have been thoroughly inspected and were replaced if suspectAll electrical parts have been testedI am sure i missed a few things as this was a complex rebuild due to the inexperience of owners and mechanics.Cindy of FWD performance helped provide many missing parts.
It has a performance clutch, not sure of brand, housing is purple in color, 4 puck style and grabs like no otherTransmission shifts well and is filled with Redline racing gear oilBoth CV axles have been serviced and boots are leak freeBrakes are great, at least 60 percent pad remaining, roters are original Chrysler and have never been turnedAll the suspension and chassis parts are original, this car drives like new and drives significantly better than our other 4 daytonas we have ownedThe cars external finish is fair and rust free as you can see in the under body picture. the clear coat is peeling and some of the paint has peeled as Chrysler was dabbling with water based primers. Not uncommon for 92 red. the car has never been hit and retains all original panels and paint. No touch ups anywhere. Nothing has ever been changed on the interior or exterior. Only engine work. There is a small dent in the hood and one on the side. Was planing to get our local paint less dent removal company to work them out.Has the correct Ninja wheels, tires could be replaced for maximum performance.Has sunroof bag and sunroof tie downsHas cover to hide what is stowed in trunkHas original jack spare tire (never used) and panel board with insulation
There are too many details to list them all as it took a great deal of time to rebuild, please email if you have any questions. I will deliver to Coutts Albert / Sweet grass Montana if a US bidder takes the buy it now option. The price is in US funds only
