Description

Available for auction is this beautiful and unique '28 Dodge pickup truck. Since Dodge didn't build a pickup until 1929, this was crafted from a solid four-door sedan (pictured below). Well built and done right, this little truck looks like it was born this way. The craftsmanship is top notch and the finish is gorgeous. Built from the highest quality components, this truck will provide many years of enjoyment.

Currently, the truck has about 20K miles on the build, and looks fresh. It is powered by a Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 backed by an automatic transmission. It has Heidts Superide front suspension and a Ford 8 inch rear with 3.55 gears. The original frame is boxed and modified. It sits on Vintique 16 and 17 inch wheels. A Pace Edwards roll top cover protects the bed. The truck is wired with a Ron Francis harness.

Inside, the interior is clean and well done. A LeCarra steering wheel is mounted to a tilt column. Gauges are by Classic Instruments. Creature comforts inclue Vintage Air AC and heat, Dana cruise control, and a RetroSound stereo with USB port.

Overall, this is a beautiful little street rod, and you won't find another one like it. Dollar for dollar, you will not get more for your money. Period. This truck is nice! Local buyers need to take a look for themselves. The seller is motivated as other projects are under construction.

This truck is located in Olympia, WA 98501 and a viewing can be easily arranged.

The truck is listed for a friend, but you can contact the owner/builder (Ron) directly at olyarant@comcast.net
