Description

This is a very cool vintage pickup that is going to let you choose your own adventure. You can buy this affordable 1967 Dodge D100 to use as a turnkey honest classic cruising pickup. But since these are always a rare sight in the classic scene, it's also the perfect candidate for any build from a factory original to a Mopar hot rod.
You're looking at pickup that will continue to have value and attract attention in the vintage truck community. After all, Dodge always produced less than Ford and Chevy. But more than just rarity, it has a style all its own. The tan paint was recently resprayed to give it a higher gloss finish. Plus, the off-white elements on the roof, wheels, grille, bumpers, etc., add the kind of charm that you could lovingly call this one "Peaches and Cream." But don't take that name to meant it's soft. These D100s have a tough and blocky presence that starts with dual cowl hood and finishes with the step side bed that's ribbed for extra strength. This is a desirable long bed version, so there is plenty of work left in this Dodge. But what you really love is its originality of the bed. That side-mounted spare looks like it hasn't left its mounting in a half-century, and we even believe it's original lumber beneath the plywood floor.
Inside, the color scheme is continued on the door panel and headliner. And now it's joined by plenty of black elements. It starts with the vinyl bench seat that has the taut look of a recent investment. The dual-spoke steering wheel has that perfect vintage truck feel, and it gives you a clear view of the correct full gauge panel. As you gaze across the dash, this one feels authentic, right down to the heat/defrost pullers and the AM radio that's still working. It's these little things that give this whole interior a great period-correct look and feel.
And this correct presentation extends to under the hood, too. This is the original 225-cubic inch inline-six that this pickup was born with a half-century ago. Sure, that engine bay could easily swallow any Mopar muscle V8 you want to drop in, but we're always excited to see a vehicle that carries this kind of history. The bold red block and cover against the tan engine bay is a real standout. And this one is complete right down to the factory sticker on the air topper. Slant six motors are great for durability and torque. And since you get to take full advantage of it with a classic three-on-the-tree manual transmission, you get to experience what a mighty Mopar motor this really is.
The originality of this pickup even extends to the warranty card, owner's manual, and other paperwork. In case you haven't noticed, we are already big fans of this truck as it is. There's a huge amount of potential from mild to wild, but until you decide its next chapter, this turn-key classic pickup will provide you with plenty of smiles. Call now!!!
