1974 Dodge Dart Swinger Survivor!!!! Gorgeous Color Combination! V8 Mopar
Description
Hello and Thank You for viewing my auction. You are bidding on a gorgeous color combination factory v8 Swinger. The exterior is paint code KG8 (Deep Sherwood Poly) with a contrasting interior code E2G6(Green). It was ordered with a white vinyl top from the factory which was removed back in the 80's and the roof was painted white to give it the same amazing contrast (white hat look). This was the best thing they could have done because the vinyl tops all held water and rotted away the roofs on all these old vehicles. I have owned this vehicle for several years and I took it on trade on another vehicle I had. The previous owner purchased it from the MUSCLE CAR MAYHEM AUCTION HOUSE and passed on some history from the vehicle to me. Years ago they started with a rust free original mileage Swinger with a 318 V8 and removed the 318 and installed a 360 from a 1974 Duster and built the motor with the best. Engine producing around 450 HorsePower. Supposedly it was built by one of Richard Petty's engine builders. It was a New Mexico Vehicle it's entire life until coming to Florida 5 or 6 years ago so there is no rust. The vehicle has the best of everything. The engine is built with a nice cam,Holley750 Holley Carburetor,MSD engine controller, high performance "Strange" rear axles, high performance built transmission and rear end and much more. The appearance of the vehicle is original inside and outside with the "Granny Grocery Getter" look but when you start it you then know this is not your "Granny's Car" :) It is factory equipped with Power Steering and Power Brakes and Factory Air Conditioning so it can be a nice daily driver or a show car. The interior is completely original with exception of the carpet and the stereo. Everything works with exception of the Air Conditioning and the wipers. The Air Conditioning needs a charge and the wiper motor works perfectly but the wiper arms need new bushings which are a few dollars at the parts store. The previous owner actually removed the bushings so he would never be tempted to take the vehicle out in the rain. This was never a big deal to me as I never took the vehicle out of the garage if there were any clouds in the sky either and only drive it a few times a year to the car shows. Two minor issues for a a 44 year old vehicle but wanted to mention. The Paint is beautiful as you can see in the photos. Engine compartment beautiful as well. You can lift the hood up at the shows :) Here is your opportunity to purchase a nice classic that is ready to enjoy now and will only appreciate in the years to come. i have a few extra sets of keys that will be included as well. Do not purchase this vehicle if you do not want attention every where you go. They just don't build them like this any longer. You jump in after sitting for a month, pump the gas pedal 3 times and off you go... There are no useless options like on these modern day vehicles draining your batteries down in a couple of days. No daytime running lights(yep that means you will actually have working headlights at night when you need them because they won't be burnt out from driving around with them on all day)..no park assist(shouldn't be driving if you can't park your vehicle)..no back up cam(has a rear view mirror)...no $500 electronic key($2.00 at Ace Hardware) and so forth...you get the idea....just a fun driving experience. I have included a few photos toward the end of the photos with the floor pan and the trunk pan. This vehicle has had the floors and trunk pan and other area oiled every few years since the 1980's sometime to preserve the metal and the floor pan and trunk show the all original metal! No welded in metal,No undercoating to hide problems etc. I had my mechanic remove the seat and lift the carpets last month to take the photos and had everything oiled again to preserve this Survivor! The Build Sheet is also still under the rear seat! You only live once...live your dream and buy your classic car. Don't buy a project as it will more than likely sit around in your garage for 20 years and you will spend 10x more $ fixing it than buying a classic that is ready to enjoy right away. I have done my best to describe this vehicle and if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask. International Bidders are welcomed to bid. There is a port here in Jacksonville Florida and In Savannah Ga and Miami as well. I can store the vehicle in a garage for up to 30 days for you if that helps. A $500.00 U.S.D. non refundable deposit is due at end of auction by Paypal. The balance to be paid by Cash, Bank Wire or Check. I have a clean (unbranded),clear(no wrong signatures anywhere) Florida title wih Actual Mileage in my name that will be released when vehicle is paid in full. I do not need any help selling the vehicle and am not interested in trades. Thanks again for viewing my auction and have a great day.
