Description

1962 Dodge D100 short bed, Sunset yellow original paint Burbank California truck now resides in Oklahoma, new professionally installed Scotts Hot Rods IFS setup in front with Alden coilovers,manual rack and pinion steering, 5k alone in the front suspension and steering! All Front IFS components were clearcoated and create a great look, rear end lowered with shackles and removing a couple of leafs, rear frame not c-notched, Dodges dont need them on these years unless you go extremely low, was originally a slant6/3spd now has a 318/727 auto with correct spanner brace and trans crossmember installed for the automatic, everything new or rebuilt except motor which was taken apart and resealed with new freeze plugs, timing chain, water pump,etc., runs great! New petronix electronic distributor, new radiator, new dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers, disc brakes in front with drums in back with a dual master cylinder with adjustable prop valve. Original press on rear drum 8 3/4 rear end was replaced with a more user friendly 68 D100 8 3/4 rear end housing with a 2:94 ratio with all new bearings and seals and new rear drum brakes. New lokar shifter. Driveshaft was professionally cut to length and balanced with new ujoints, new 17X8 US Wheels with new 235/60/17 tires, spare is still under bed, still using original gas tank in cab, 67-72 chevy rear bumper, front bumper was tucked in closer to body, new carpet installed with new scuff plates, seat is perfect under the seat cover, previous owner had some minor rust repairs done to the tailgate and bottom of both doors and then primed in yellow by a professional body shop. Was going to put door decals on doors for the shop truck look but never got around to it, no rust on truck, floorpans are in great shape, spent its whole life in Burbank area until it came to Oklahoma, glass is in great shape, Bed is not rusty, spots on side of bed are where tie downs were located, filled the holes in, have original tie downs if new owner want, original hard to find stainless trim is in great shape,have original yellow grille that can go with truck also and is in mint shape, i liked the white grille better, 62 is only year for the white face gauges and they all work perfect, factory radio delete truck, heater core not hooked up, Truck runs and drives great and is very unique, has a great stance and drives out great!
