Description

For sale is a 1950 Dodge Coronet (high trim line in 1950) survivor.

Asking $4200 OBO located near Brigham City, Utah. Runs and drives has ~69k on odometer (odometer does not appear to work). Flathead in-line 6 with M6 Gyromatic transmission (a semi-automatic transmission: use clutch to shift between reverse, low range, or high range on column with 2 speeds in low and 2 speeds in high that automatically shift). 6 V positive electrical system with new Optima red top battery. Fuel system has been gone through and has a new fuel tank and sending unit (has not been connected yet - electrical still needs to be gone through). Brake lines have been flushed and new rubber lines installed with new brake fluid. Undercarriage has been pressure washed and treated with corroseal and is prepped for undercoat (hasn’t been undercoated yet). New oil pan gaskets have been installed. Unused motor gasket set (except oil pan which is already installed) included. Two drivers-side windows have been replaced. When door panels were pulled (still off so anyone can inspect inside doors) we noticed the signature of a line worker (very cool). There are also grease pencil option codes still on firewall (very cool). Includes a rare sunshade. Have much of the chrome and all of the hubcaps (not pictured, but included) and a few spare parts. It is a fun car and a good to go get a hamburger in with the kids. Nice natural patina if you’re into patina or nice candidate for a restoration factory (blue) or other paint job. Nice survivor. Clean Utah title.

Only selling since I am having a hard time deciding to keep the patina or return to like new condition, have several other projects, and only plan to keep the car for a few years at most (I don’t want to put $$ into paint restoration just to find a buyer who prefers patina - people are pretty split right now - also, I don’t have the emotional attachment to this one like I do with some of the others).

Very clean with very little rust. Want to see it go to a good home where it will be preserved, maintained, driven, and enjoyed.
