Price just reduced for quick sale. Offers coming in, but nothing finalized yet. Don't miss out on a rare chance to own a classy classic, a 1965, V8, 3-on-the-tree, Dodge Dart, without having to spend a fortune on one A collector's item: ONLY 203 WERE PRODUCED by Chrysler. Who knows, this could be the only one left! Manufactured in Los Angeles, lived in AZ 99% of its life. Very original. Starts right up, shifts and runs well. See video:https://youtu.be/vuNHc5SwW1s
Brings back awesome memories of riding in Grandma's back seat. . . . especially when I play the NUMBER 1 hit song of 1965.... "Wooly Bully" by Sam and the Pharaohs.Watch/listen on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE_MpQhgtQ8
32K mi. per previous 1 owner. AC, nice original dash, headliner and seats. Clear/clean Florida title.Because I have a conscience, it's at the mechanic's now, to make sure everything works for the next new owner. I get it back next Tuesday. What's new? battery & tray, sending unit, gas gauge fixed, gas tank filler neck tube rubber grommet seal,
AC serviced (yes, blows ice cold air), heater hose, brakes, brake lights, turn signals, actual physical outer taillights, wipers, front windshield-gasket-chrome, quality tires, a n d new custom molded carpet for 65 Dart that just needs installed. Havethe original AM Dart transistor radio that works (needs face plate & knobs) and can be re-installed. What's needed that I know of? paint / chrome touch ups, a few small dents, working radio, some door/window weather stripping. Solid rocker panels - nice undercarriage (see pics). Have 2 classics, this Dart and a 90 Cougar. Need to sell one for space. I'm keeping the one that doesn't sell first. If the Cougar sells first, I'llhappilykeep the Dart and will paint it the 1965 Dodge light blue Color (CC-1). If Dart sells first, I keep the Cougar. (As of 11/25/20, I have someone very interested in the Cougar who lives close by, so, this Dart may be removed any moment/day now).
If you need more pics or have questions message me. Like the majority of classic car owners, I'm not making any money on this sale, when figuring the $$ I've put into it.
If you buy the Dart, just be prepared for LOTS of attention whenever you drive it. Seriously. It never fails to get thumbs ups, questions, comments, honks EVERY time I drive it. I went and got gas yesterday about 5 minutes from my house, and it took me about 45 minutes, because of the people who came over to talk to me. So, if you plan to go for a quick drive, or a quick trip to the store to pick up some things, I wouldn't drive the Dart. At car shows, don't plan on sitting down. I had to stand up for several hours at the last car show/cruise-in that I attended with it. People say they love it's originality/non-restore look, while being in good condition at the same time. (minimal aftermarket parts).
I pledge integrity in transaction. I can recommend a reasonable auto shipper if need be. I'm already feeling 'seller's remorse'.
