This Rare 1965 Dodge Dart GTis a 3 owner car with 54410 actual miles with documentation including the original owners title from 1965 along with the original bill of sale from 1965 from the dodge dealer, and copies of the re registrations showing the mileage up to where its at now. It also includes the letter from chrsyler congradulating the orignal owner on the new purchase. The original owner sold the car in 1999 to the second owner with 51k miles on the car. The second owner stricly used this car for going to car shows. He had it repainted from the original gold color to black. The paint has held up beautifully (except for a few minor flaws here and there as pictured and videoed) and there was no rust bubbling any where I can see. I could not find any body filler on the car. The second owner sold the car in 2005 to the third owner who only showed the car occationally and stored it most of the time. The car spent its whole life before I got it in south carolina. I had the car enclosed trailered to me and I went through the car to bring it up to daily driver quality. All it really needed was a good tune up, brakes, etc. It has four T/A goodrich radials that are like new. This is a car you can get in and drive anywhere.The interior is original and was ordered with the premium package and is extremely clean. Included in the listing is the brake down of the data plate. from what we can tell, the car has the rare 273 v8 engine and it purrs like a kitten. At one time one of the owners put air shocks on the rear so you can adjust the way the car sits to your liking. The automatic shifts all gears like it should and the brakes work the way they should. All of the gueges and lights and radio work great! I drove the car 65 miles per a hour and it cruised awesome! It has dual exhaust and it sounds really nice! This car looks in person as good as it does in the pictures and video! the rear plate and bracket do not go with the sale of this car. This is the rare GT package and all of the chrome is there as pictured.I do not want to overcall it or undercall it, let the video pictures and description tell the story! the data tag reads as I can make out, 3=9 variable wiper with washer. 8=5 stone sheilds. ab=30 273 cubic inch v8. D=5 auto E=5 heater with defroster V=3 back up lights Z=2 front buckets with console SQ=c05 Number=06029 Body L42 Trim=p4y paint=AA1 , I require a 500 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the car, I willa ssume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. I can help recommend shippers I have used in the past who have been very reasonable!Although we beleive the miles to be actual, due to the car being 51 years old, the car is sold as miles exempt.
