1950 Dodge Coronet
Description
1950 Dodge CoronetNew: Carburetor, coil, battery, water pump, hoses, and turn signals.I just had $1,000 of work done to the brakes and wheel bearings. The windshield is a newer replacement, all the glass is good.Starts and drives good.Lots of power.Has a primitive kind of automatic transmission. It's called a Gyromatic. It drives and shifts like a normal three speed. So it operates both ways .... I guess. The body is in very solid shape. I've included photos of all the bad spots.I live on the Oregon coast, but this car is from the central California valley. While there is some surface rust and a few small areas of rot, this car is SOLID!!!The interior has been removed. So, it's ready for some new clothes.Comes with two shop Manuels. One for the car and one for the tranny.Original owners manual. Not a reproduction. The previous owner was making it into a "rat rod". He replaced the exhaust system, but did NOT install a muffler. (This is the first thing that needs to be addressed.)I bought this car to fix up and make a daily driver out of it, but lost my focus when a 1930 Model A came up for sale. This car has many more decades of service in it. If you're looking for a solid driver, at a reasonable price, this is the car for you. Thanks for checking out my car.Larry
