The first year of the Fuel Injected 308 the GTSi cars were more reliable than the earlier carbureted version of the 308. Flat spots in a few points in the rev range were taken care of, fuel starvation when cornering was no longer an issue, and there was no need to adjust carburetors. The purposeful interior consists of black leather bucket seats, the iconic Ferrari gated shifter, numerous toggle switches on the center console, leather trimmed door panels with very simple design, and very clear gauges. As the beautiful shape of the 308 that emulates late '70's/early '80's Italian design ages, the value of the whole range of 308's steadily rises.

The 308 we offer for sale is a very nice example of an iconic dream car of the early-80's. Original paint is in great condition and is free of stone chips at the front of the vehicle. Body panel fitment on the car is very good, targa top is in very good condition, exterior trim, lights/lenses, and bumpers are also in great shape. The interior looks great; gauges are in working order, all switches and knobs move freely, windows go up and down easily, and seats are in great condition other than some wear on the driver's side bolster. The engine which has the Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection runs great and stays within a good operating temperature. The 5-speed manual transmission and clutch work in harmony to make sure gear changes are smooth. Service records indicate that this car has been thoroughly checked over within the past two years with parts such as timing belt, water pump, fuel filters, and many suspension components having been replaced within the last 1500 miles. Overall this is a clean, crisp 308, and with only 19,640 miles on the odometer has seen limited and pampered use since it left Maranello.
