Description

A head turning car for sure, non rust body, Abarth look alike with insignia and racing stripes. Runs out very strong, I've had 3 of these and this ones undoubtedly gives extra pull at the end of a gear change. White wall tires and wheels look amazing and there is a completely new interior kit that has never been installed. These cars get a lot of attention at a car show. Folks run past a Corvette to see their childhood memory of when they tried to put 8 boys inside. Everyone loves the strange rear engine/radiator placement and fan belt pass along from the generator to the water pump/fan, odd and very reliable,,, some 4.5 million of these cars were built from 1955 to 1974 I believe. In fact the car was so popular it has been built in 6 different countries! Spain even had a 4 door taxi cab version. This car is sure to increase in value as it has become a cultural icon in much of the world, including the UK, Spain, and of course Italy. I have a 2 inch stack of documentation, mostly written in Italian, it shows the consistency of past owners diligence in preserving this little giant cars history and heritage. Have a clean Florida title. A classic car going up in value, with show stopping attributes at 40 mpg, and stores in the smallest of garages, WOW!! and its priced under $20K.
MORE INFO: the Abarth wood steering wheel cost $500 the bumpers, headlight ring and interior kit cost $1700 the floor pans are solid throughout the car has always been garaged.Driving the car: Much like a go-cart in handling, very quick and nimble not an ounce of play in the front end, brakes straight and true, all turn signals, lights, wipers are working albeit the horn was never hooked up on the new wheel. the yellow thingy in the parts photo is a wrap around steering lock to deture theft.(have all the original parts that were replaced...steering wheel, air cleaner, bumpers, headlight bezel etc)
