Description

This Project Car I got from a friend when he moved, having Good Rust Free Qtr. Panels & Floors, engine complete & turns, but I never had it running yet, as the whole car sat for years before I got it.Original Factory Standard Shift, 9" Ford Drop Out Type Rear End, Steering Column is a Floor Shift Type Tilt from a 1975 Chevy El Camino, that I installed that fits, looks & works better than what it had.
The original factory 3 spd column shift type steering column was junk, all worn out, so I threw it away.. There are restorable '67 Pontiac GTO Bucket Seats just sitting in place on the floor board. The transmission tunnel had a hole cut for the present 3 spd. standard floor shift. This car was in sad shape when I got it, so I decided to clean it up / build some custom creative looking car out of it.
The GTO front bumper is perfect & alone worth $1,000. it is very tough to find an original this nice anymore, & just so happens it actually is the same contour & width, so it is temporarily in place.Brackets could be built for this bumper to fit right, look & work properly, I just never continued with cutting the "junk front fenders", trimming it up to fit up to the bumper to look right and it can be done.
The original Front Bumper/Grill was junk, so afterwards I got this GTO Front Bumper to take it's place. The Grill for this Bumper can be custom made Aluminum Flat stock, with the head lights behind it.The Hood is "Junk", so can be cut/trimmed to properly fit up to the GTO bumpers top & look good. The Rear Bumper is "Junk", so I was going to make a Custom one, as also the Tail Gate & Lights.
This Car still has potential to look like for instance what George Barris would build when Custom Creating Cars, otherwise, I'd just cut this thing up for parts, sell the Good Qtr. panels, floors, etc,The dent free Roof is good, including the windshield & back glass & door glass & stainless trim moldings all good & the Doors are restoreable,The floor of the rear bed area is good, solid & rust free.
The car is in sad shape & I felt for it to be beyond not worth Restoring to original, so using other parts & creativity since being the original parts needed are expensive & too tough to come by anyway. This car has; [some parts that are still good, but not all of them] or, if someone really wants to continue to complete it by building it in to a Custom Creative Car.
If you want the car for donor parts for your Ranchero, I will sell this without the GTO bumper, it's only there as the one day I was preparing it to list on eBay, then noticing it had the similar contour fit.It could make a wild & different looking custom car, I have both cable remote Sport type Door Mirrors. This is the first I've listed it to see if anyone has an interest, as I have other projects.to build.
Picture Hood Scoops, Custom Grill, Flamed Paint Job, Custom Built Interior, Nice Rims & Tires, Dressed out Engine, this could still be a rescued nice Ranchero car again with patience & creativity.
No Title, only a Bill of Sale from me, the car is clean and off D.M.V. records, been sitting for many years, and I or the new buyer could very easily apply for lost title.Have an interest in this for parts only? Email me your interest of thoughts, need the floors? Qtrs.? Glass? I may cut & ship you those items needed if negotiated.
Kinda sad though, I still liked and wanted to continue to complete more on the car now that Spring weather is here. I'm sure that it would run, my friend got it from the owners widow a few years ago.The junk Dash Pad I threw away, the original interior door panels are use able. Tomorrow I'll take more photos of how it presently looks like now, somewhat cleaner/better than the earlier photos taken.
Please check back later, to give me more time to finish completing this listing. Thanks for Looking!
