Description

To be completed. This car was begun by our friend, a professional car builder that passed too soon. This was NOT a backyard project. The time/money already spent on this car is extensive and it can be easily be completed with equity left over; even if you have a prodo the paint and assembly. The body has STRAIGHT panels (all metal) and excellent alignment and gaps. As for the body, just block and paint. There are a couple of minor custom touches like shaved handles and it is slightly lowered (a much better look). The shaved handleopening kit is included, as is the push-button start kit. $7,000 in re-chroming of bumpers/brightwork, $4,500 in custom upholstery, $1,500 in stainless exhaust, and so much more. 300HP 352 w/12K miles that runs very well. Newer Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission. Convertible top hydraulics are sorted out, another $1,500. Other new parts included are radiator, battery, Edelbrock aluminum valve covers, polished air cleaner, wide-whites/chrome wheels/bullet caps, fuel tank, fuel pump, sill protector plates, door handles, bezels, and much more. Buyer will need to buy windshield, which is readily available from numerous outlets. Front suspension and steering has been gone through according to family. Door panels, including aluminum inserts are in very good condition and ready for upholstery. Original rust-free floor pans. The bad? During a comprehensive inspection, the car was rust-free with one exception. At some point, the spare tire well in the rear held a little water and the bottom has rust holes (pictured). It will need need a small amount of metal work as the wells are not available for purchase (a T-Bird expert may know where to find them). Could also be glassed. Most receipts and provenance. This is a relatively inexpensive project and will make a killer show car, driver, or both. Email or Call seller for more details and backstory. Lowreserve and buy-it-now prices. No consignment calls.
