1946 Ford Super Deluxe club coupe. Fresh frame up build, everything new or rebuilt. 29,800 actual mile car. Strong 59AB flathead V8, Standard bore, new rings, bearings, water pumps, oil pump, valve job etc. Mallory electronic ignition, 12 volt system with GM alternator. Headers with dual straight pipes, sounds sweet! rebuilt carb, all new hoses belts fuel lines etc. 6 blade COE fan, re-cored original radiator with brass overflow tank. Runs cool, even in traffic, great oil pressure, super smooth idle and throttle response. Numbers matching 3 spd trans, also excellent condition, all new seals and gaskets. rebuilt banjo rear with factory 3.54:1 gears, all new seals, bearings, races etc. All new original style brakes, new shoes, rebuilt wheel cyls, new master cyl, all new lines and hoses. Stops great!! Lowered 6-7 inches all around. Front has a dropped axle, reveresed spring, 1' longer shackles, and crossmember flattened 1 1/2 inches. Tube shock conversion, sway bar, and panhard bar. Rear is modified rear crossmember, reversed spring, and 1" longer shackles with a sway bar and tube shock conversion. This car rides, handles and steers excellent!! But it is low enough that you do need to be carefull over bumps etc. Most of the interior has been re-done. Seats, and carpet are freshly done, dash and all garnishes have been painted with all new chrome, seals, etc. All original glass. I have a new headliner in the box with windlace, and new door and quarter panels that need covered, I have originals for patterns. This was a super solid body, only repairs were rockers and tailpan, which were both professionally replaced. With the body off the frame, the underside of the floors were cleaned and painted, also under side of all fenders and running boards etc. Frame was also torn down completely and painted and fully detailed. the firewall was cleaned up, lightly smoothed and also painted and detailed. This car has all new seals and gaskets etc. New painless wiring harness. Everthing works as it should including horn, dome lights etc. New 5.00x16s and 7.00x16's on the original wheels. Lots of extra parts are included, including another transmission, rearend etc. This car has had over 600 trouble free miles since completed in Feburary. Fly in and drive home.
