Description

This 1966 Fastback has been completely Nut and Bolt restored and received many modern and vintage Performance upgrade Parts to enhance drivability with keeping in mind the looks of an original Shelby R350 Race Car. It has Shelby Aluminum Valve Covers, an Aluminum Air Cleaner Cover and a large Aluminum Oil Pan. A Shelby Air Scoop on the Hood, side Scoops and a Fiberglass front Spoiler.
A Borgeson Power Steering System has been installed for better Steering. For superior Braking it received a hydraulically supported Brake Booster System which performs excellent, like a modern car. The front Disc Brakes are large, 3-piece Brakes by Wilwood. In the rear are oversized Drum Brakes.
The 347 Stroker Engine produces about 450HP and is built with Top Quality, high Performance Components including a Crower Cam with a Top of the Line Holley Double Pumper Carburetor and a Billet MSD Distributor. All Components are synchronized with each other to ensure the most Performance!
It has a Tremec 5-Speed Transmission with a hydraulic Clutch and a Heavy Duty Currie Locking Differential Rear End.
The Interior has Sport Seats done by TMI with a matching Center Console. For more comfort and safety it has 3-Way Safety Belts. It has 6 Top Quality Ultra Lite Instruments by Pro-Comp. The Dashboard Pad has been removed to simulate the looks of a Shelby R350. The Mufflers are Magnaflows and deliver a brutal Muscle Car Sound.

The Fastback has been completely taken apart for Paint and new Floor Boards have been installed perfectly! The Body and the Undercarriage is very nice! The complete Floor has been Rhino lined and looks very nice! The Body Work for the Paint has been rushed a little bit and there are a few Areas which could have used some more attention to make it outstanding. It has an aftermarket Driver Door and the rear bottom Corner does not fit exactly. The paint is good and there are definitely no Blisters nor Bubbles anywhere. I have many Photos of the Restauration.
The Fastback has been lowered for better looks and improved Performance. It sits on 17" Aluminum Wheels with 225 and 235 Tires.
This Project cost about $50K in Parts plus Body not including Labor.
