Our hot little '65 Ranchero was born as an 'A' code (289-4v) with the factory 4-speed and has only gotten stronger since. The 302 that now resides under the hood is known in Ford circles as a Clevor, or a Windsor block with the free-breathing Cleveland heads. This is accomplished by using a Street Boss aluminum intake manifold which allows these normally incompatible parts to work together. Other goodies under the hood include an Edelbrock carburetor, HEI, headers, and an aluminum radiator. Inside, a custom interior, Deluxe wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, and an AM/FM radio contribute to an enjoyable cruise. Now you can get the groceries home before the ice cream melts!
