Description

I purchased this beautiful car from Muscle Car Outlet in Ohio 9 years ago. It was advertised on Ebay. It is a fabulous vintage Mustang restomod. Exterior is cloned to the Hertz Shelby. Has all the Shelby equipment...sequential taillights, bullet mirrors, shaved door knobs, grill with foglights, black with gold stripes, Shelby badging, 17 inch Torque Thrust wheels. The black interior is perfect with Procar Seats, wood grain Cobra steering wheel, Sony, 8 point rollcage ( well disguised, 4 point safety belts, Shelby mats, etc. The engine is beautifully chromed and includes a 302 V8, Novi Supercharger, mild cam, very few miles, C-6 Automatic, and other upgrades including : Edelbrock Aluminum intake, Demon 750 carb, Competition Cam 509/512 lift, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Edelbrock performer intake, Aluminum radiator, electric fan, chrome alternator, aluminum pulleys, headers, dual and with x-pipe exhaust, flowmaster mufflers, MSD probillet distributor, MSD 6 BTM with boost retard, Baer 4 wheel disc brakes, Chromed Tower brace kit from Total control products, Good year Eagle RSA P235/55 R17 rear tires, 225's on front, fibreglass cowl hood, shaved doors with remote, full Shelby body kit, quarter glass window kit, tilt column, B&M ratchet shifter, TGP Stainless pedals, autometer tach and.boost gauge, Simpson racing belts front and rear, Console, brushed aluminum, glove box door, infinity speakers, Sony CD player, no a/c.
I drove the car a few times after I purchased it (very streetable), but then decided to keep it with a covered car tarp in my garage with intentions to sell it later. It is a fantasic automobile. Whoever did the restoration, engine, tranny upgrades did a great job. To keep the engine and fluids operating satisfactorily, I would start the car and run it for a few minutes. I know it needs a carburetor kit because I let it go too long for starting....engine turns over fine....definitely not a problem. However, in the next few days I will send it to the shop for a complete change of all fluids, new carburetor ( Demon 750 cfm), or new carburetor and any other items that need to be made to have it in good running order. The car was serviced and inspected regularly until I put it in storage.
If interested in buying before the shop work, pls let me know and I will discount the price. Come take a look. To be perfectly honest, I paid over $40,000 for the car 9 years ago. There were many bids for it but I finally had the winning bid. The winner of this auction will come away with an awesome, one of a kind car. The reserve is well under what I paid for it. When I purchased it, the car had just come back from Pennsylvania where it won Best Car in Show. According to Muscle Car Outlet, the car won several shows. The car is exactly in the same condition when I bought it. While I intended to keep the car longer and enter some car shows,, my wife just found out she is getting transferred overseas, so I will need to sell it. In a couple of days I will have it at the shop for detailing and getting it in good running order.
Serious inquiries only. Also, funds must be secured in my bank account before I can let the vehicle go. Buyer would arrange transport, insurance, etc. No warranties expressed or implied. Thanks for taking a look. Car is in west Houston. Prefer corresponding by email until there is a serious bid and then we can discuss details by phone.
