1962 Ford Falcon Futura Southern California car (black plate included in sale)
200 CID 6 cylinder (prior owner indicated out of mid-60's Mustang)
2 speed Fordomatic automatic transmission
57,800 miles on odometer, likely exceeded mechanical limit; sold mileage exemptSolid frame/body, no known rust. Some sag in doors, but open & close ok. Will need window seals & wipers looked at (not an issue for me, rarely rains in desert)
Rally blue paint ok from distance, not original/showing age (some oxidation, chips, etc). Falcon Registry research indicates original color was likely Viking (light) blue
Front bucket seats not original, some wear (a set of eBay seat covers would do the trick). Seats appear to be from an older Futura or Granada
No radio, but does have rear speakersSome extra parts included (ex, new door locks to match ignition key)
Tinted windows, black wheels, paint color, decent bright work and cherry bomb exhaust gives this early-60's grocery getter attitude for cruising and local car shows. It's not going to win any races or trophies, but it will spark lots of conversations about days past :-)
