Description
1976 F350 RATROD PROJECTI acquired this vehicle in a trade on a vintage motorcycleHad been settin for a spellGas and 600 cfm Motorcraft carb smelled of varnishDrained the tank, replaced the carb with a used 750 Edelbrock, changed the fluids, redid all the vacuum plumbing, and she sparked right up!All the lights work! Some ofwhat followsI know, some is speculation. From the few cast numbers we could find, we believe this to be a 69 or 70 T-BIRD motor?Cab is '76 F350 (and titled as such), no clue what the lowered front end is, the rear of the vehicle we believe to be a 1957 Dodge?10 Bolt Ford rear, the wheels are 8 lug duals just switched around, 429 CID BB V-8, most probably a C6 tranny. Thanks, ford_for_brains!The motor runs STRONG.Tires are like new (LT225 85R16) and the 6" exhaust tubes are fully functional. That being said, there is an issue with the drive train.Theleftrear wheel occasionally locks up causing the other wheel to spin harder to make her go.I believe it to be a brake issue. Also, I did NOT install a choke on the carb, thus she is a cold hearted b***h to startBut runs like a champ once she fires off!NEW fuel pump and plugs 08/03/2017Gonna need a new batteryI will entertain offers for parts as the tires I can use on my work vanNO, YOU CANNOT DRIVE THIS BEAST HOMEI can drive her onto your trailer, but you CANNOT drive her homeAny Question? Call Brent @ 850 421 1555I'll do my best to answer!CLEAR South Dakota titleAnd now for the rest of the story, I raised the rear of the vehicle, the left wheel barely turns. I am not an expert, but truly think it is a brake issue. The lug nuts are 1 1/16" and extremely tight. Thus I cannot verify it is a brake issue. That is my best QUESS.If'n you are not from around here and or plan on having this vehicle shipped, please
Note!Do NOT use the USHIP quote as a reference! The fella that purchased this vehicle last week lives in OHIO, the uship quote on Ebay was $451, after he won the auction he contacted them for actual shipping costs. The lowest quote was $750 and some approached $ two thousand dollars. Uship does not ship anything, they are brokers and put the shipment up for bids. Where they got the quote for $451 is a mystery to them, and the rest of the world.Good Luck!
On Aug-07-17 at 14:06:28 PDT, seller added the following information:Just for fun I put in a Zip Code for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Uship quote was $510. I put in my own Zip code and the quote was $981. Go figure?
