1965 Mustang Coupe A code 4 spd
Description
I have for sale a car that needs some work to be a nice presentable driver. This car is a 4 spd V- 8 with a 4bbl carb. The car needs a small amount of body work- mostly dings and a small amount of rust over one wheel well. The paint is poor and is flaking in several areas. Front bumper needs to replaced- it has been pushed on or pulled on at some time- the rest of the front is fine. The pans and the rear quarters are original and solid -except both of the front floors pans have some damage- the driver side was dented and collected some water and has some rust on the leading edge. The passenger floor pan is a little soft so I would suggest replacing both. This would make the car really solid and rust free at that point. The inside needs carpet- it is old - not torn but is sun faded. The headliner and the door panels are fine. I would replace the two armrests. The dash has one crack near the radio speaker. Seats are pretty nice and maybe have been replaced along the way. Tires are old and weather checked but hold air- I was going to have the work done at a shop and then put on new ones. The motor runs strong -no smoke- the transmission and clutch shift fine. I believe all the lights and blinkers work as well as the heater etc. I would suggest anyone wanting to place a bid call to go over the car - I would be glad to do that in detail. If you have any questions or concerns please CALL. I don't check e-mail very often. I would suggest you have someone come and look at the car if you are not able to do that yourself- NOTE- I do plan on offering the car for sale locally - so if I were to get a reasonable offer I would like to remove it from the auction site- hope this is ok with everyone. Calls to 303-823-877seven are more than welcome- George
