1970 ford mustang mach 1 fastback (shaker, spoiler, 351 auto) low miles
Description
For sale here is a 1970 mach 1 mustang that has been stored inside since 1987 when it was took off the road and took apart to be painted. This car has been stripped to bare metal and primed and was in the process of having a high end restoration done recently, some assembly will be needed in putting this car back together. all original sheet metal cars are getting very hard to find now days. The floors are original and no rust holes, the rear quarters are original with no rust hole, the cowl panel all original with no rust holes this alone tells you what kind of car this is. the frame rails front and back are nice with no rust holes either. The only places i see that need attention are #1 the battery apron due to battery acid i assume, #2 the rear taillight panel under right side tail light, this was cut out by the body shop for some reason ? looks like about a 1" x 3" square would need to be welded back in place. The history of this car was the guy i bought it from dad bought the car in 1975 from a local car lot where the original owner swapped it in for a VW bug. I know that sounds carzy but that was what was told to me when i bought it. Anyway the previous owner wanted to restore his dads car to a high end restoration and took it to a body shop where the stripped the car to bare metal and disassembled the interior and took out the engine and tranny. the guy went and picked up the engine and took it for rebuild and discovered the shaker and rear spoiler were missing. the car was then brought home and sit inside till it was settled in court. So with that being said the shaker and spoiler will need to be bought for the car. i have all the interior, the glass, the rocker trim and other odds and ends. all i know it needs to be complete is the shaker and spoiler. this car was originally BLACK JADE exterior with BLACK interior, the engine was completely rebuilt and is matching #s on block 0T103085, carburetor was sent off and plated and rebuilt to where it is like new, this totaled up for a bill of $3673 for engine and carb rebuild. if you need more pictures i can send you as many as needed or any info you can call or text me. this car is sold as is where is and funds should be in cash or wire transfer from your bank to mine and must be cleared before the car leaves my property. i do have a clear title and i will help load the car to any transporter. thanks for looking at my ad ($2000. pp deposit within 24hrs after auction ends is a must or it will be relisted).
