1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster 1755 Miles Tan Convertible 4 Cylinder 3 Speed
Description
To this day the Ford Model A is one of the most recognizable cars on the planet and with over 4.8 million units produced in nine different body styles in its 4 year production period. It was sporty attractive well-built and smooth-running compared to the Model T which it replaced in the 1928 model year. Thousands of people were eager to see for themselves that "Henry's made a lady out of Lizzie" and they stormed Ford showrooms when the Model A debuted on December 2 1927. In less than two weeks ...there were 400000 orders and Henry Ford could not keep up with the demand for his latest "gift" to an increasingly mobile nation. Despite the onset of the Depression Model A production remained strong at 1261053 cars in 1930 but fell to 626579 cars in 1931 the last year that the Model A was produced. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this very nice 1931 Model A Deluxe Roadster for your consideration! The body and paint work of this roadster is extraordinary and is one of the nicest ones were seen. The tan paint is excellent and the contrasting fenders look sharp. The dark camel colored seats are perfect with no stains or rips and look very classy. The rumble seat and wooden luggage rack are in good shape as well. The top works as it should and is in good shape. The car also features wider wheels with larger tires from a V8 model. This Model A is a very solid driver and the 3 speed manual is a willing partner. The car starts up every time and is happy to cruise at 50mph no problem. It also keeps up with modern traffic very well and gets tons of looks and waves. One of our employees even drove it back and forth to work one day. It might be 86 years old but this Model A is just hitting its prime!
