1931 Ford Model A 0 Yellow Convertible 4 Cylinder 3 Speed Manual
Description
To this day the Ford Model A is one of the most recognizable cars on the planet and with over 4.8 million units produced in nine different body styles in its 4 year production period. It was sporty attractive well-built and smooth-running compared to the Model T which it replaced in the 1928 model year. Thousands of people were eager to see for themselves that "Henry's made a lady out of Lizzie" and they stormed Ford showrooms when the Model A debuted on December 2 1927. In less than two weeks ...there were 400000 orders and Henry Ford could not keep up with the demand for his latest "gift" to an increasingly mobile nation. Despite the onset of the Depression Model A production remained strong at 1261053 cars in 1930 but fell to 626579 cars in 1931 the last year that the Model A was produced. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this very excellent 1931 Ford Model A Convertible for your consideration. Finished in a very beautiful shade of light yellow with brown fenders bright orange wheels and a matching orange pinstripe trim. The interior is a nice dark chocolate brown and the seats and dash are in nice shape. The top fits well and the car has a fixed windshield and wind up windows. The large 4-cylinder engine runs well and the 3-speed manual shifts well. This car came out a of a large collection of Model A's where it was kept for the last 15 years. These cars are appreciating in value and this is a very nice example To see over 80 photos of this car including under carriage please visit our website
