Description

Here is a 1970 Mach 1,4 speed Close Ratio Manual Transmission. Traction-Lok Differential, 3.25 Traction-Lok axle ratio. Black Clarion Knit Vinyl Bucket Seat. Back seat does not fold down. Grabber Blue Paint, Shaker Hood Scoop, Power Steering, Manual Brakes. This car was painted back in the 90's and now needs to be re-painted. I decided not to paint the car, so everyone can see there is nothing to hide. Looks like they put quarters on both sides and floor pans front to back. The floor pans are welded and seam sealed nicely. The quarters were done nicely. You can see it has 1 re-paint, Original factory back louver. The front stripe is not correct but I have purchased a correct stencil kit from NPD.The interior is very nice, it is missing the correct drivers side remote mirror.(Update, just purchased the drivers side remote mirror).Looks likethe original dash (Not a plastic cover). Headliner is nice. Someone put in a aftermarket radio and after market gauges. The speedo does work, Gas gauge also work, All light except for the reverse lights work as they should. Got curious so I took off lower Mach 1 panel, just because, pics show there are no holes, Not going to say there is no bondo in a 47 year old car. You can see what needs to be done without anything hiding. This car has the 351 Cleveland with the 4 barrel heads, Not sure if it is matching number. Will try to verify before the end of auction. This car starts, runs and drives, manual brakes could use attention. Would I drive it across country, not yet. I drive it to the store to get gas and coffee. Thankful for the power steering. The back torque boxes look untouched, the front drivers side torque box looks where they added a flat piece of metal and welded it in. This car has good bones. Doors open and close amazing. You don't have to slam the doors at all. I have a few new parts to go with the car. I have the Marti Report, it has survived a bottle of water being spilled on it. If I have it long enough I will order the door sticker from Kevin Marti. (Update. I ordered the door verification sticker from Kevin Marti, will take 3 to 5 weeks but will forward if car sells). Any questions or anything, call 904-219-6195, This car is for sale locally and auction can be stopped anytime. Thanks, everyone for your interest in my Mach 1,RESERVE IS OFF,if you are serious call me, we can make this car yours today. 904-219-6195
