Description

Here’s a very nice 1929 Ford Roadster, Rumble Seat Hot Rod for Sale. This car has all Ford drive train starting with a healthy 302 4 bbl. up front and a C4 automatic floor shift with a 8” Ford rear. It has front disc. brakes, Mustang II front clip, dual (left and right ) fuel tanks, dual exhaust, all chrome 4 link front suspension with mono leaf and chrome 4 link with coil over rear suspension, nicely done custom frame work as can be seen in pics, it’s nice and clean. This car is steel with some fiberglass panels. Steel: hood, running boards, lower louvered side panels, windshield surround, original firewall (behind the glass shell), front lower valance and tail lights. Still has its original body tag. The doors, trunk lid, main bucket and fenders are glass. It has 15” Keystone Treker rims in the rear and 14” Keystones in the front all with new tires. Interior is in excellent shape as well as the rumble seat area. Headlights, horn, tilt and telescoping wheel, and some of the gages (Oil pressure, fuel, amps, water temp all work). Tach jumps around, speedo not working, radio not hooked up, brake lights currently not working. So in summary, it could use a few hours of tinkering. The paint is super nice and shines right up, it does have a few scratch and chip touch ups which could maybe use another coat to blend better but nothing that takes away from the car. This car runs and handles great and is a blast to bop around in. It has, what I think is, the great look of the full fender, closed hood, running board roadster. Dressed but hot rod as they get. It had been sitting for a few years so I had the tanks flushed, professionally rebuilt carb., fluids changed, filters replaced and she is now ready to go.
