Description

If you have interest in a Model A Ford, "you need to read this and look at the 81 pictures"! WHAT IS A SPORT COUPE? It is a 2 door car that looks like a convertible. The top is canvas and mounted on wood bows, but it does not come down, "its for style". DOES THE CAR HAVE A RUMBLE SEAT? Yes it does have a working rumble seat in the trunk area. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS... ADDED TO THE REAR! AHOOGA HORN WORKS GOOD! CAR IS STILL 6 VOLTS, BUT A ALTERNATOR HAS BEEN ADDED! HOW IS THE ENGINE? It runs strong for a Model A, BY STRONG I MEAN FOR A 4 CYLINDER FLATHEAD. I hear no unwanted knocks or rattles. It does not leak oil bad and I see no blue smoke. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 3 speed manual and shifts like Model A Ford did. HOW IS THE PAINT? The color looks just right on this car. The shine is very good, the car has no dents or dings, it does have some touched up chips (most chips are on the running board low, they have been touched up with matching paint), a critical eye can find very minor flaws, but it is nice paint, just not roll out of the trailer perfect. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? It all is in very good condition, it show no wear. HOW IS THE TOP? Looks new, no wear, no holes. HOW IS THE CHROME? All good. HOW IS THE GLASS? All nice with no cracks and no milky areas. HOW IS THE TIRES? Good tread and I see no dry rot cracks. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? Good for a 1929 Model A. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? To me it stops good for mechanical brakes. I hear i squeak, I looked for it real fast once. I will try to find it, but no guarantee. Model A Fords are known to shake, rattle and roll. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? Can't tell you much, a man from Tellico Plains owned the car. Tellico is in the foothill of the mountains and about 25 miles from me.

WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
