We are the 2nd owners. We purchased this truck in 2013, with 43,400 miles, primarily to haul our camper. As you can imagine, with that few miles, it sat a lot with the first owner. Since we have owned it we have done the following and made it very dependable. I has made several trips to SC towing a large camper without an issue.
-New front brakes and calipers, both sides
-New Michelin tries
-New clutch hydraulic system (master cylinder, line and slave cylinder all OEM)
-4 New Moog ball joins and an alignmentlast summer
-2 New poly fuel tanks. The rear has been installed. The mid-ship is still in the box and will come with the truck
-New thermostat last summer
-New batteries (both) in 2015
-Left front spring replaced
-Camper shell was removed and resealed last winter along with the two camper shell side windows
-Windshield wiper motor replaced
-Windshield wiper/turn signal arm replaced
What is wrong with it? Nothing it's a truck, drive it. Na, just kidding there is always something wrong with anything this age.
-The front fuel tank sending unit does not work. I would replace it when you are replacing the fuel tank that comes with the truck.
-It is hard starting if it sets for a long time (due to mechanical fuel pump) but if it is a daily/semi-daily driver it starts easy and runs like a top.
-Windshield edges are starting to fog. Not a big deal, but I am being 100% honest here.
Overall the truck is in great shape for her age. The clear coat is peeling on the camper shell and the single stage white paint is old and flaky, but the body is solid. Only rust is in the driver side front fender and it is only surface rust on the exterior.
Reserve is set at $14,000
