1968 Ford F250 Camper Special 390 engine
Description
1968 Ford F250 Custom Cab Camper Special with clear title.
Solid original truck. Lived it's life in California and Arizona.
390 engine.
C6 Automatic transmission.
Flex-o-matic rear suspension
Twin I beam front suspension.
Factory A/C components and dealer add-on under dash A/C unit (present but not working).
Factory front disc brakes.
Auxiliary gas tank.
Power steering.
Body has surface rust in a few places but all of the metal including the floor pans is solid.
Few minor dings and scratches.
Engine runs smooth and strong. I would not attempt to drive it across country as not all of the mechanical systems have been gone through.
Here's what I have done to the truck in the time that I've owned it:
New points, plugs and wires.
Rebuilt the stock carburetor.
New Tires.
Brakes done front and rear.
New belts and hoses.
New filters.
Replaced tailgate with color matching original equipment.
Replaced the rear window.
The things that I know that the truck still needs:
Replace driver's side exhaust manifold and exhaust.
Fix fuel gauge.
Replace auxiliary gas tank filler neck.
Replace rear bumper.
I don't want to sell it but I am moving to another state for work and I can't take it with me.
Please note:
The camper does not come with the truck. Email me if you are interested in the camper too.
