Description

A STUNNING 1968 Ford F250 Custom Cab Camper Special
This is a simply beautiful classic truck. Fully restored, the truck stands out and receivesendless comments and praise. Tan is the original colour and I have not seen another F250 that looks this good. Very reluctant sale due to an upcoming move.
I have owned the truck for two years and it has been my main vehicle, serving me extremely well. I bought it from Las Vegas, Navada and so it is very clean and as you can see from the pictures.
The body is straight, dent free and all original with no sign of any filler. The doors open and close effortlessly and are original. The paint work looks stunning and is in good condition. There are a few minor chips on the exterior and some slight cracking in the corners of the tailgate. The truck bed has the normal scrapes and scratches through use.
The truck starts first time and runs reliably. Te engine is in good order and has been relentlessly maintained and looked after by a reliable local workshop. I have fitted mechanical gauges so you can acctually monitor what it going on with the engine, instead of guessing from the electricalones.
The interior is superb, with quality upholstered seats, top built in sound system, original working radio.
In the time that I have owned the truck I have made the following upgrades:
- Reupholstered the Seats in classic looking leather and non sweaty comfortable suede- New Bluetooth/MP3 Stereo and SPS-410 Alpine Speakers and Sub- Installed RF-350 Autopage Theft Alarm with remote- Installed mechanical Gauges giving accurate Oil Pressure, Water Temp & Voltage- Upgraded to MSD Distributor & Coil- Renewed the Power Steering Pump (Lifetime Warranty)- Renewed Radiator & Hoses- Renewed the Started Motor (Lifetime Warranty)- Renewed A/C Compressor & Hoses- Fitted Bosch Premium Oil Filter
Plus of course the normal servicing a routing maintenance.
Everything on the truck works, with the exception of:
- Fuel Gauge: I have renewed the sender but I think there must be a wire break or a faulty gauge. Should be easy to find and was my next job.- Horn: This was never hooked up when the previous owner installed the steering wheel.
The additional camper fuel tank has not been used while I have owned the truck and so I would recommend inspecting it before use.
This truck still puts a massive smile on my face every time I get in it!
Viewings are welcome and will not disappoint. Send me a message and I will get in touch. Any questions, just ask.
