Thanks for looking at our auction. On Feb-05-18 at 15:36:11 PST, seller added the following information:I have more info on the Torino. In 2006 it had new lifters and gaskets installed. Cost $917.56. Mileage at that time was 53,108. Car was still in Indiana at that time. Indiana is where it was bought new. I have the original ownercard warranty identification card and power train warranty card. I have the warranty facts Booklet and owners manual. Last owner said he put different tires and wheels on the car in 2014 and drove it a few hundred miles that year. Right now mileage shows 53931. He also stated that a 70 Torino GT Convertible 351 car that is red with white top and Black interior with bucket seats and floor console would have been low production. He said possibly less then 30 built with these options. This is a guess but they are true Ford people so it might be true. No there is no Martini report. Car has true dual exhaust. Looks like the car would of came to Minnesota around 2008. In 2009 it got a new starter, starter solenoid and battery cables. I've had the Torino running for about an hour with no overheating issues. Engine sounds very good with no smoke.
I took pictures of the engine today, if anyone wants to see them send me a request. Engine compartment is very clean. Engine appears to be painted, most likely when lifters were replaced. There is no rust on inner fenders along the edge where the fenders bolt to. Shock towers are very clean. Firewall is clean and very solid. I don't see any issues of rust in engine compartment.
Keep asking questions. I'm happy to answer them:
