69 Ford Torino GT, 390, 4-barrel, big block, disc brake pwr steering muscle car.
Description
I bought this car about 7 years ago from a fellow who picked it up from the original owners. court papers show it was stored for 20 years. Good daily driver if you want, I rarely drove it. Starts right up. almost 100% stock, has a Holley avenger and pertronix electronic ignition. Found the build sheet in the glove box, it is hard to read but not too bad. Once I got it home I realized it had a 68 G.T. grille installed, and the passenger side, fender, door and quarter panel have been changed. They all fit very nice, but the quarter panel, is showing rust where it was attached on top. I swapped the old grille for a very nice 69 G.T. grille. Looks very professionally done. Noticed the stock G.T. wheels have a few hairline cracks, so I bought a set of chrome G.T. wheels, but never got around to swapping them, but they go with the car. Rear bumper is a little bent. Needs new mufflers, but the rest of the dual exhaust system is in good shape, and it is an easy un-bolt and replace system. New parts I can think of, Brakes, Carburetor, fuel pump, Gas tank&sender. Very small rust spot lower quater panel, about the size of a quarter. I was told rust free, but discovered that when I got it home. So it is Big Block, 4-Barrel, Disc Brake, A/C, Automatic, Bench Seat, all stock from factory. A/C blew cold when I bought it, but needs a recharge now. Call with any questions, (707)499-7455, Joe, car is located in Eureka California. No reserve auction.
