FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION we have a nice 1966 Mustang coupe. The candy apple red paint is nice, black interior real good, gleaming chrome, clear glass, the 289 engine runs sweet, the C4 automatic transmission shifts good. HOW IS THE BODY RUST WISE? I consider it good, the frame rails look very solid, floor look original to me and good, I see no rust bubbles in the paint. HOW IS THE PAINT? It is Ford's candy apple red and it is nice....The body looks very straight when I look down the sides, I see no dents or dings, the shine is very good. Its good paint, I do see very minor touched up chips if I look with a critical eye. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? The black interior is good, seat covers show no wear, door panels good, carpet not new, but good, dash pad has no cracks, headliner very good with 1 patched hole on the rear passengers side. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKES LIGHTS WORK! BACKUP LIGHTS WORK! WIPERS WORK! HORN NOT WORKING! GAS GUAGE WORKS! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HOW IS THE CHROME? Over all the chrome and stainless is nice, I would consider it upper end driver quality. The bumpers shine good, a few pits on the front one, emblems good, stainless steel around the windows good with very minor scuffs, vent window chrome very good. HOW IS THE GLASS? Good side glass and roll up and down fine, the windshield is clear with no wiper marks. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It starts and runs very good, a little cold natured like most carbureted engines, I hear no knocks or rattles and see no blue smoke. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting C4 automatic. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I consider it driving very good, it has no power steering, but steers easy to me. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? I consider it stopping good for 4 wheel drums with no booster.
